Andreas Christensen drew attention during the international break with an outstanding goal for Denmark in a World Cup qualification victory over Greece.
After the match, the Barcelona star discussed his strike and admitted that he would like to score more goals for his club and nation.
“It’s affecting me more and more because I’ve always wanted to be a threat when I throw the ball up there. Sometimes there isn’t enough area to shoot, but it doesn’t bother me as long as someone else finishes,” he told BT.
“But I’d like to finish a little higher than I do, but I’m a defender, so I have to consider that first. I don’t devote much time to shooting practice.

Christensen has received widespread plaudits in his own country for his goal and performances during the international break. Nonetheless, he was characteristically humble when told about the compliment, admitting: “It’s nice to get praise, but I hate talking about myself.”
