Barcelona allegedly hoping to have Marc-Andre ter Stegen fit in time for Saturday’s Copa del Rey final against Real Madrid.
According to Adria Albets of Cadena SER, the German goalkeeper will be cleared to return on Friday and will travel with the squad to the game in Seville.
Ter Stegen has been out since September due to a significant knee injury that necessitated surgery, but he has been back in training for some time now.

Manager Hansi Flick stated on Monday, ahead of Barcelona’s game against Mallorca, that the goalkeeper is “ready” to return and that a decision would be made on when.
Wojciech Szczęsny, who replaced Ter Stegen after retirement, has performed admirably in goal for Barcelona this season.
However, the veteran has stated that he would be willing to step aside for Ter Stegen, and Flick appears to have a big decision to make on his goalkeepers now that his No. 1 is back in shape.
