Barcelona may have climbed to the top of La Liga with a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad, but not everyone was pleased with their performance.
Jules Kounde, who scored one of the goals, was upfront about his criticism after the game, acknowledging that the team made it more tough than it needed to be.
The French defender did not hide his dissatisfaction, stating, “We suffered too much.”
He stated that the last parts of the contest lacked control and attention.
“I didn’t enjoy how we finished the game; we lacked intensity, didn’t drop back enough, and didn’t close off the inside passes.
“We made the game difficult for ourselves and suffered excessively. “We performed better in the first 70 minutes.”
Kounde is pleased with Lamine’s impact.
Despite his criticism, Kounde was happy with the influence of Lamine Yamal, who made a significant difference when he came on.

The youngster assisted Robert Lewandowski’s game-winning goal shortly after being introduced.
Kounde commended his teammate, saying, “I’m very happy for him, with Lamine’s return because we’re going to need him.” According To Barcaunivesal.
Reflecting on his goal, the defender praised the team’s better set-piece possibilities.
“We have more set-piece alternatives with players like Rooney and Rashford. “We’re good at set pieces in defence and attack,” he remarked.
Szczesny steps onto the platform.
Wojciech Szczesny’s return to the starting lineup was another hot topic. The Polish goalie explained why he didn’t rejoice too much after helping Barça win by remaining humble.
I’m sad for Joan Garcia and what happened to him, so don’t tell me I’m happy today. The term “happy” wasn’t appropriate.
He said, “I could be happy that I’m back playing for Barça, but I’m not because Joan Garcia is injured.”
“I hope he returns to goal soon, which is where he should be for a long time, defending our colours,” Szczesny said as he concluded, offering his fellow goalie his support.
