Barcelona have reportedly reached agreement with FC Copenhagen for the signing of Swedish winger Roony Bardghji.
After being discussed informally, the agreement is anticipated to be formally signed the following week. Fabrizio Romano claims that in addition to a €2 million fixed price, the deal will also include a sell-on clause and further performance-based bonuses for Barca.
This move represents the realization of a lifelong desire for the 19-year-old, who turned down Tottenham, to sign for Barcelona.
Since he was a little boy, Bardghji has been a devoted fan of the Catalan team, and his excitement for the transfer was crucial to its success.
The teenage winger is expected to join the Blaugrana project with great expectations now that a long-term contract has been signed.
Bardghji has no animosity toward the Danish side, even though his time in Copenhagen is coming to an end. The player is still very appreciative of the team that helped him grow, even though there have been some problems with his contract in the past.
At the age of 15, he made his way to professional football by joining Copenhagen. Additionally, the team supported him during a trying time when he suffered a significant knee injury.
Crucially, Barcelona’s pursuit of Nico Williams has nothing to do with this acquisition. It is anticipated to affect the club’s interest in Cardoso Varela, though, as Barça are probably going to drop out of the race.
Barcelona continue to create an intriguing future full of young talent and long-term planning, given that Bardghji’s entry is all but confirmed.
