According to Mundo Deportivo, Yuste is being seriously considered for the CEO role at the Riyadh-based club, where Cristiano Ronaldo currently plays.
Yuste will return to Barcelona after the Vissel Kobe friendly, but his comeback might only be temporary, signaling his possible departure.
He has two key tasks upon his return: assisting Deco in the transfer market and finalizing internal decisions before potentially exiting the club.
Sources say the Al Nassr offer includes major financial rewards and professional prestige, making it increasingly difficult for Yuste to decline, reports Barca News.
Barcelona president Joan Laporta, a childhood friend of Yuste, reportedly won’t block the move out of respect for their long-standing relationship.
The final decision now rests with Yuste, who is weighing loyalty to Barcelona against career growth in Saudi Arabia’s growing football landscape.
If Yuste departs, Joan Soler is expected to step in. Already the sporting director, Soler is viewed as the top candidate to replace him.
Soler was previously considered for the role when internal restructuring was discussed, showing the board’s trust in his capabilities.
