FC Barcelona has successfully completed multiple renewal operations in recent months, and the club’s sports department has done an excellent job of ensuring the long-term stability of some of its most essential players.
However, other players’ futures remain uncertain, particularly Polish striker Robert Lewandowski, whose contract expires next year and the Blaugranes have yet to make a decision on his renewal.
Meanwhile, despite his growing age, the Pole remains in high demand in the market. According to a report from SPORT, Manchester United is one of the clubs that has already contacted Lewandowski’s entourage about the prospect of signing him next summer.

The Premier League heavyweights see the situation as a great business opportunity, especially since Lewandowski is likely to be available as a free agency. United boss Ruben Amorim is said to be a big fan of the Polish forward and believes he can provide experience and quality to the team.
Amorim sees Lewandowski as an excellent mentor for newly recruited striker Benjamin Šeško, whose growth could benefit from practicing alongside such an experienced player.
Interestingly, Lewandowski disclosed in a BBC interview a few months back that he had agreed to join Sir Alex Ferguson’s Manchester United in 2012, but the deal was never completed.
“To Manchester United. I chose to say yes. I wanted to join Manchester United and see Alex Ferguson.”
After thriving at Borussia Dortmund, he went on to have an outstanding career at Bayern Munich before realizing his long-held ambition of wearing the Blaugrana shirt.
Despite the uncertainties surrounding his future, Lewandowski has reportedly stated a desire to remain with Barcelona for at least one more season. He is willing to accept a lower pay and a secondary role within the squad if necessary.
