Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing a move for Barcelona forward, Ferran Torres and are ready to submit a £43 million bid for the Spaniard.
With 19 goals and seven assists in 45 appearances across all competitions, including 10 goals and six assists in 27 La Liga games, the 25-year-old was vital for Barcelona in the 2024–25 season.
After joining Barcelona from Manchester City in January 2022, Torres has made 158 appearances for the Catalan powerhouses across all competitions, tallying 44 goals and 20 assists.
Since both Manchester United and Arsenal are rumored to be admirers of the former Man City forward, there is now a lot of speculation regarding Torres’ future.

According to Fichajes as reported by Sports Mole, Villa are also very interested, and Unai Emery’s team are getting ready to make a €50 million (£43m) offer for the Spain international.
According to the report, Villa attempted to sign Torres during the summer transfer window as well, but at the time, the team were unwilling to spend more than €20 million (£17 million) for his services.
Torres is thought to be adamant on staying at Barcelona, but he knows that once the Catalan powerhouses sign another forward, his prospects of making frequent starts the following season would decrease.
Hansi Flick’s team were unsuccessful in their attempt to sign Nico Williams. The Spain international signed a new contract at Athletic Bilbao.
However, Liverpool winger, Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford of Manchester United are still top targets.
