Aston Villa are reportedly eyeing a shocking move for Liverpool forward, Diogo Jota ahead of the summer transfer window.
the Reds paid over £40 million to Wolverhampton Wanderers for Jota in 2020, following their first Premier League title win.
Despite his injury struggles at Anfield, Jota, 28, has scored 65 goals for Liverpool and will help them win their second Premier League title by the end of this season. With five games remaining, the Reds are currently 13 points ahead of Arsenal.

According to Birmingham Live the Portugual international’s contract with Merseyside is set to expire in 2027, there have been rumors circulating ahead of the summer transfer window that Liverpool manager Arne Slot may try to rotate his forward line if given the chance.
Slot also has fellow countryman Cody Gakpo on his books after signing Mohamed Salah to a new contract.
However, there have been rumors of Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, and now Jota. Federico Chiesa, who joined the team permanently last year from Italian side, Juventus has had difficulties making an impression.
