Arsenal are reportedly set to test Real Madrid resolve by making a move for Rodrygo Goes.
The Brazil international has performed admirably for Real Madrid, but since Kylian Mbappe joined the team last summer, a consistent starting position does not appear to be certain.
It appears that Rodrygo’s chances of retaining his spot at the Bernabeu will be difficult given the emergence of the gifted young striker Endrick and Arda Guler.
According to Fichajes as reported by Caught Offside, Real Madrid would likely be willing to sell Rodrygo for about €100 million in order to raise cash for big new additions like Dean Huijsen and Alvaro Carreras.

According to the source, this might present a chance for Arsenal, who may be able to acquire the 24-year-old for less than the asking price of €100 million.
Even if Rodrygo is finding it difficult to break into the starting XI in Madrid, it’s no shame when you look at the competition he’s up against.
He would not have that difficulty at Arsenal, where he’d definitely be a significant upgrade on the likes of Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard out wide, and potentially on Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus at centre-forward.
Rodrygo might be a useful addition to give Mikel Arteta’s side something a little different up front because he can play all roles upfront.
The 24-year-old has scored 13 goals and provided seven assists across all competitions for Los Blancos.
