Arsenal Unlikely to Sign Rafael Leão Despite Transfer Interest

Arsenal have shown interest in AC Milan star Rafael Leão, but a move appears unlikely due to high transfer demands.

The Gunners reportedly contacted Leão’s representatives, but the player remains committed to Milan and is not considering a move soon.

Leão’s current contract runs until 2028 and includes a massive €175 million release clause, discouraging most interested clubs.

While Milan may negotiate below the clause, they still expect around €130 million, a figure Arsenal are unwilling to match.

Arsenal already have depth on the left wing, with players like Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard regularly featuring in that position.

The club is instead focusing on more affordable targets who can strengthen their squad without breaking financial structures or balance.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed there are no current talks between Arsenal and Leão, and the player remains focused on Milan.

Leão has been a standout performer for Milan, attracting attention from top clubs, but his priority is staying in Italy for now, reports London Football.

Although Arsenal admire his talent, the financial and strategic barriers make a deal very unlikely in the current transfer window.

Unless situations change drastically, Rafael Leão will not be joining Arsenal anytime soon despite the initial interest shown.
