Arsenal Target On Man United Radar Ahead Summer Window

Real Sociedad midfielder, Martin Zubimendi is reportedly on the radar of Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.

After losing to Fulham on penalties in the FA Cup fifth round over the weekend, the Red Devils are currently struggling with their most recent setback.

Ruben Amorim is therefore left to try to raise the team’s Premier League status from 14th and win the Europa League given they are already in the round of 16.

However, plans are already being made behind the scenes to bolster United’s roster in the summer and bring in players who are better suited to Amorim’s preferred 3-4-3 formation.

According to GiveMeSport as reported by Sports Mole, the club’s management are reportedly debating whether to make a bold attempt to sign Zubimendi.

The report further stated that United need to improve their financial status before they can easily sign elite players in 2025–2026.

However, because of the Spain international’s release clause, it is rumoured that United would try to capture Zubimendi for a fee of between £50 million and £55 million.

The 26-year-old, who made 35 appearances in all competitions at Real Sociedad after turning down Liverpool last summer, has remained a vital member of the team.

The player is well-liked by Arsenal, and it was recently reported that, barring any last-minute changes, the Gunners had virtually finalized a deal.
