During a heated Premier League game last night, Arsenal defender Piero Hincapie was observed shushing Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler.
The Gunners won 1-0 against Brighton courtesy to an early deflection goal by Bukayo Saka, but it was far from a vintage performance from Mikel Arteta’s team.
Hurzeler was harshly critical of Arsenal in his post-match press conference, saying that only his team attempted to play football, Reported on X.
The Seagulls manager made this obvious to Hincapie, but the Ecuadorian international responded cheekily.

Hurzeler appears urging Hincapie and Arsenal to “f**king play football” in the video, with the Gunners ace appearing amused as he tells the German strategist to remain quiet.

“I believe there was only one team that attempted to play football today, and I’m proud of how they did it,” Hurzeler remarked following the game.
He continued, “I will never be the type of manager that attempts to win in that manner. I want to do well. I want my players to keep improving and playing football on the pitch.
“In the end, of course, every club will manage and waste time, but I believe there needs to be a limit, and the Premier League should set it. The referees must define the limit; for now, they may do whatever they want.
