Arsenal Star Opens Up On Transfer Rumours As Saka Faces England Selection Scare

Arsenal head into the international break sitting top of the Premier League, but the headlines around Mikel Arteta’s men haven’t slowed down.

Leandro Trossard has spoken publicly about rumours linking him with a summer exit from the Emirates, reports Daily Star.

The Belgian forward, who extended his contract in August, insists he never planned to leave.

“There are always rumours like that,” Trossard told Belgian media. “Leaving was never really an option. I feel very good at Arsenal.”

The 30-year-old has started the season strongly, contributing two goals and two assists in eight appearances after recovering from injury.

Saka’s England Return Nearly Delayed

Meanwhile, Bukayo Saka’s return to the England squad was almost postponed, according to manager Thomas Tuchel.

The winger’s recent form for Arsenal — two goals in five games — earned him a recall, but Tuchel admitted he nearly stuck with his previous squad.

“I didn’t want to leave anyone out who performed well last time,” Tuchel explained. “If Madueke hadn’t been injured, Saka might have had to wait.”

Saka, who missed recent internationals with a hamstring issue, ultimately benefited from Madueke’s absence to reclaim his spot.

Zubimendi Praised as Europe’s Best Summer Signing

New arrival Martin Zubimendi has been hailed by Arsenal legend Martin Keown as the most impactful signing in Europe.

Keown said: “He’s integrated perfectly. Everything ticks when he’s on the pitch.”

The £60m midfielder has already earned a Premier League
