There are several statistics that may be used to describe Cristhian Mosquera’s incredible start to his Arsenal career, but one in particular stands out.
According to The Evening Standard, Mosquera has made three Premier League appearances including the 85 minutes at Anfield for Arsenal without drawing a single foul.
Given that only Jurrien Timber has made more tackles for Arsenal this season, the feat is all the more remarkable.
Mosquera Joined Arsenal From Valencia
Although it’s early, Arsenal seem to have gotten a good deal after initially paying Valencia £13 million to bring in the 21-year-old in the summer.

Arsenal entered the summer window to sign a needed competition and cover for William Saliba, who has played more than 3,000 minutes in the Premier League in each of the last two seasons.
Arsenal considered a number of players, including Dean Huijsen and Marc Guehi, but they ultimately chose Mosquera.
The defender, who graduated from Valencia’s academy, was happy at the Mestella and only desired to move if an established team approached him.
Mosquera desired to join a side where he could play frequently and compete for trophies.
Despite interest from other clubs, Valencia had hoped to negotiate a higher fee, but Mosquera told them he only wanted to join the Gunners.
Andrea Berta, the sporting director of Arsenal, oversaw the negotiations. He knew Mosquera from his days at Atletico Madrid and that he had just one year left on his Valencia contract.
