Arsenal have reportedly been handed triple injury boost ahead of their 2025-26 Premier League match opener against Manchester United.
United’s first Premier League game of the season will take place at Old Trafford against Arsenal. The team led by Ruben Amorim are now in the United States getting ready for the upcoming season, which has already seen victories over Bournemouth and West Ham.
In other news, Tottenham Hotspur defeated Arsenal 1-0 in their most recent friendly match as the Gunners were on a preseason tour in the Far East.
Jurrien Timber and Gabriel Magalhaes have missed all of the Gunners’ games on tour thus far, while Riccardo Calafiori has become an injury concern.

Last season, Gabriel had surgery for a hamstring problem, and he had a setback during their trip to Asia. Calafiori was substituted during Arsenal’s victory over Newcastle earlier this week, and Timber is also recuperating from an ankle surgery the defender had earlier in the summer.
According to Football London, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, has given an explanation for his belief that all three defenders would recover in time to play against United in a little more than two weeks.
What Did Arteta Say About The Injured Trio?
“I don’t think so,” Arteta said when asked about any potential fitness worries after the defeat to Spurs on Thursday.
“If they evolve like they’ve been involved in the last few days, so Gabriel Magalhaes, Calafiori and Timber, the three of them will be available.”
Over the course of their recent U.S. tour, United have been given a triple injury boost.
Andre Onana and Joshua Zirkzee have returned to training following preseason injuries, while Lisandro Martinez resumed light training following an ACL injury sustained back in February.
