Arsenal have reportedly informed Gabriel Jesus that he can leave the club in the January transfer window, according to ESPN Brazil.
The Brazilian striker has struggled for consistency and fitness this season, and his omission from the Gunners’ Champions League squad appears to have sealed his fate.
Mikel Arteta reshaped his team over the summer, adding eight new players to strengthen Arsenal’s title charge.

However, that rebuild has left some senior figures sidelined, with Jesus now among those deemed surplus to requirements.
Reports claim Arsenal are open to selling the 27-year-old, with both Palmeiras and Flamengo monitoring his situation closely ahead of a possible return to Brazil.
Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade revealed that Arsenal have already “sent a message” to Jesus’ camp, confirming that both Arteta and the club hierarchy are open to a January sale.
Jesus Faces Uncertain Future
Despite interest from Brazil, it’s believed Jesus prefers to remain in Europe if he departs North London.
Palmeiras made an approach earlier this year but were told the timing wasn’t right.
Since joining from Manchester City in 2022, Jesus has shown flashes of brilliance but has battled frequent injuries and inconsistent form.
The summer signing of striker Viktor Gyökeres has further reduced his prospects, and being left out of Arsenal’s Champions League squad only strengthens the belief that his time at the Emirates is coming to an end.
A move in January now looks increasingly likely for the former City forward.
