Arsenal ‘Ramps Up Bidding’ To Sign £200,000-A-Week Real Madrid ‘Superstar’

Arsenal is expressing a serious interest in Real Madrid winger Rodrygo ahead of the summer transfer season, according to Spanish publication AS.

The Gunners are reportedly’ready to boost up bids’ for the Brazilian winger, who now has an uncertain future at Real Madrid following a difficult season under Carlo Ancelotti.

According to AS, Rodrygo’s status in the Spanish city is ‘difficult’, as he has only scored one goal since February and has been somewhat overshadowed by Arda Guler’s recent performances.

With Xabi Alonso poised to take over in the coming weeks or even days, there is mounting speculation that Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid may take a dramatic turn due to interest from Premier League clubs.

According to AS, Rodrygo faces a’very difficult’ task in collaborating with Alonso, who will allegedly prioritise sustaining Guler’s consistent progress next season.

The’superstar’ Brazilian forward’s unclear future at the Santiago Bernabeu has reportedly put many English clubs on alert, with Arsenal and Manchester United listed as prospective suitors.

Rodrygo, regarded as ‘one of the best wingers in the world,’ has gone three months without scoring or assisting in La Liga, with his most recent contribution coming on January 25 in a 3-0 victory against Real Valladolid.
