Arsenal defender, William Saliba has reportedly made a decision about his future this summer.
At just 24, he has nearly his entire career ahead of him after leaving Saint-Etienne to join the Gunners in 2019.
However, he has rapidly become one of the Premier League’s best defenders, drawing interest from elite teams across Europe.
Earlier this summer, L’Equipe reported that “concrete” negotiations had been held and that Saliba had been designated as Real Madrid’s top target.

Even as Los Blancos have already spent £50 million on former Bournemouth player Dean Huijsen, a reported sum of £85 million doesn’t appear to have stopped them.
But, according to le10sport as cited by FourFourTwo, Arsenal are equally committed to keeping Saliba in their backline and have made the center-back a “very substantial offer” to prolong his stay in north London.
Since his current contract with the Gunners expires in 2027, his worth will probably start to decline following this window.
According to reports, the deal is significant enough to validate Arsenal’s view of Saliba as their key player going forward, thereby strengthening their desire to center their future around him.
However, according to the same source, Saliba is still undecided and is enticed by the chance to play for Los Blancos.
Saliba is valued at €80m, according to Transfermarkt.
