Arsenal have reportedly offered William Saliba to Real Madrid in a swap deal involving Rodrygo Goes.
Following a campaign that seemed promising but ultimately ended in despair, the Gunners have once again failed to take home any silverware this season.
Arne Slot won the Premier League title with Liverpool on his debut season, while Mikel Arteta’s team were unable to close the gap with the Merseyside outfit in the second half of the season.

In two outstanding displays, the Gunners defeated Real Madrid 5-1 on aggregate in the Champions League quarterfinals before falling to Paris Saint-Germain in the semifinals.
After receiving strong support over the past few years, Arsenal manager Arteta will now face pressure to win a trophy next season, ideally the Premier League or the Champions League.
Since the Gunners are unwilling to let one of their top players leave the Emirates Stadium, Saliba has been linked to a move to Real Madrid.
But according to Defensa Central as reported by Football 365, the Gunners have already made Real Madrid an “offer to swap Rodrygo for Saliba” during the summer window.
Arsenal “would be willing to let Saliba leave if they have the chance to sign Rodrygo,” according to the report. However, Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, is not swayed with this.
There is no doubt about Rodrygo’s potential at Real Madrid. The feeling at the club is that the Brazil international has everything to become the best player in the world.
