Arsenal Eye Rodrygo As Trossard Exit Nears

Arsenal are reportedly preparing to sell Leandro Trossard in a bid to sign Real Madrid forward Rodrygo before Liverpool can secure the Brazilian’s signature.

Following a busy transfer window that has seen Arsenal bring in six players — including Viktor Gyokeres and Martin Zubimendi — the club is now focused on refining their squad.

With over £200 million already spent, the Gunners are keen to balance the books and free up squad space.

Trossard Departure Could Unlock Rodrygo Move

Trossard is attracting strong interest from Borussia Dortmund, as well as two Premier League clubs.

Although Arsenal have the option to extend his contract until 2027, his sale this summer is becoming increasingly likely.

The club hopes to secure around £13 million from the deal, which could go toward funding Rodrygo’s transfer, reports Team Talk.

Mikel Arteta is a known admirer of the Real Madrid winger and sees him as a significant upgrade on Gabriel Martinelli.

Luka Modric has described Rodrygo as a world-class talent, and Arteta believes he could elevate Arsenal’s attack to a new level.

Arsenal Face Liverpool Challenge for Brazilian Star

Liverpool are also pursuing Rodrygo as a replacement for Luis Diaz, who recently joined Bayern Munich.

Tottenham have made an approach too, but the Brazilian has ruled them out.

He is determined to play regularly in his preferred left-wing role — something that has been limited at Madrid due to competition from Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.

Rodrygo has turned down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia in favour of a move to the Premier League, putting Arsenal and Liverpool in a tense transfer battle.
