The Gunners’ August setback to Arne Slot’s side was one of only two league defeats this season. Back then, it appeared that the Reds were well-positioned to win another league title after a dominant start to the season.
A lot has changed since then, however. Liverpool is no longer in the title race after a disastrous run of form from the end of September to November, and Arsenal are strong favourites to gain three points.
