Antony has revealed why he left Manchester United this summer, accusing the club of “disrespect” after enduring difficult months at Old Trafford.
The Brazilian winger sealed a €22m Deadline Day move to Real Betis, ending his disappointing Premier League stint with Manchester United.
Despite Bayern Munich offering better financial and sporting opportunities, Antony insisted happiness was more important, and chose Betis as his long-term destination.
Antony explained he was placed in Manchester United’s infamous “bomb squad,” alongside Rashford, Sancho, Garnacho and Malacia, forced into isolated training, reports SI.
He says the treatment left him frustrated and unwanted, training separately for more than 40 days while stuck in transfer limbo.

He added: “I feel like they disrespected me. But I don’t want controversy. I’m grateful too; we shared titles and memories.”
Antony admitted his family had already moved to Seville before his transfer, showing how determined he was to rejoin Real Betis.
Rejecting Bayern Munich, Antony stressed happiness mattered more than money: “I know my wife and children are happy here in Spain.”
Last week, Antony scored an 85th-minute Europa League equaliser against Nottingham Forest, showing glimpses of his old brilliance in Betis colours.
