Man United Flop Rejects Two Transfer Offers

Manchester United winger, Antony has reportedly rejected offers from Brazilian outfits, Botafogo and Sao Paulo.

After losing favor with Ruben Amorim, the winger has been linked with a transfer away from Old Trafford this summer.

During his loan stint at Real Betis in the second half of the 2024–25 season, Antony made an impression by scoring nine goals.

The ‘bomb squad’ of United, which has been training apart from the first team group during the preseason, includes Antony on the roster.

Tyrell Malacia, Alejandro Garnacho, and Jadon Sancho are with Antony because all four players are expected to depart the club this summer.

Recently, manager Ruben Amorim stated that he would think about bringing the out-of-favor players back into the starting lineup, but club management will ultimately decide their futures.

Prior to adding players to their roster, the Red Devils must let go of some existing players. The club are continuously looking for a good no.9.

Two Brazilian teams, Botafogo and Sao Paulo, claimed to have made approaches to Antony.

However, according to Antenados as reported by Goal, the Selecao star has decided not to go back to his native country this summer.

The Red Devils will play Bournemouth at Soldier Field in Chicago in their second preseason friendly of the U.S. tour on Thursday.
