Former Manchester United winger Antony found himself at the centre of violent scenes during the fiery Seville derby on Sunday.
The Real Betis star, suspended for the match, watched from a VIP box as tensions exploded inside the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium.

Antony, who joined Betis permanently this summer after a six-month loan, was unavailable following his red card against Girona.
But the Brazilian still made headlines after being caught on camera provoking Sevilla supporters during Betis’ 2-0 victory.
Footage circulating on social media showed the 25-year-old celebrating a Betis goal by gesturing toward the home fans. His taunts did not go unnoticed.
Bottle-Throwing, Insults and Mayhem Break Out in the Stands
Sevilla supporters retaliated immediately, hurling bottles and other objects toward Antony’s box. Some fans were seen shouting, pointing, and waving middle fingers as security struggled to control the escalating hostility.
The mayhem intensified on the pitch too. With Betis leading comfortably, Sevilla winger Isaac Romero was shown a straight red card for a dangerous challenge late in the game.
The dismissal triggered further chaos, with projectiles raining down from the stands, reports Mirror.
Referee José Luis Munuera Montero was forced to suspend play for 15 minutes as players and officials took cover. Once the situation calmed, the final minutes were completed under tight supervision.
Meanwhile, Betis’ win lifted Manuel Pellegrini’s side to fifth in La Liga, narrowing the gap to Atletico Madrid in the race for Champions League qualification.
The club is now bracing for disciplinary action, while Antony faces renewed scrutiny over his behaviour in Spain’s most volatile derby.
