Trent Alexander-Arnold may come to regret not heeding Jurgen Klopp’s advice following his quick decline in favour at Real Madrid.
Not even a year after leaving Liverpool in a controversial transfer, the England defender is apparently no longer required at the Bernabeu.
The 27-year-old signed for Real Madrid in a £10 million deal last summer with high hopes for his future.
However, the sad reality has been even worse as Real struggle to reclaim title hopes this season. Alexander-Arnold has only managed one assist in 11 games for the team due to injury issues.

Alvaro Arbeloa, another former Red, filled the vacuum left by Anfield legend Xabi Alonso shortly after.
However, according to The Mirror, Alexander-Arnold has been informed by the former Spain international that he is free to leave the Spanish capital.
Alexander-Arnold’s Problem Is Akin To Klopp’s Prediction On Coutinho
This regrettable development is reminiscent of what Klopp warned Philippe Coutinho when he departed Liverpool eight years ago. Before moving to Barcelona in January 2018 in a move that was worth £142 million, Coutinho had made a name for himself as a future legend in Merseyside.
This happened in spite of his old boss’ concerns that if he joined another European powerhouse, he might end up just another squad member.
The German tactician’s forecast came true as Coutinho quickly declined at Barcelona before returning to the Premier League four years later with Aston Villa.
Alexander-Arnold rejected Liverpool’s hefty contract offers to prolong his Anfield stay in favour of an international move, perhaps repeating history years later.
Many Liverpool supporters disapproved of his decision, and it now appears that his time at Real Madrid might be remarkably short.
The England full-back was aiming for Ballon d’Or status not too long ago, hoping to create history by winning the individual award. But after his troubles in Madrid, he’s nowhere near competing for such honours.
