Alexander-Arnold Reveals Agent Bellingham’s role In ‘Dream’ Move To Real Madrid

Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly revealed the role Jude Bellingham played in his dream transfer to Real Madrid.

After months of doubt about his future, Alexander-Arnold, who was signed by Los Blancos for £10 million from Liverpool, was eventually unveiled as a Galactico on Thursday.

Known for their close relationship, the full-back and Bellingham became inseparable while playing for England on international duty.

Since it became apparent that Alexander-Arnold was headed to the Spanish city, many have referred to the midfield player as “Agent Jude.”

However according to the Daily Mail, the former Liverpool vice-captain has denied that Bellingham had any involvement in the transfer.

“We spoke, it wasn’t exactly what people think it was,’ Alexander-Arnold claimed.

“We spoke a lot about Liverpool and Madrid, they’re the conversations you have as players and friends, you want to know what it’s like.

“At the national team, he was the only player who knew what it was like to be at Real Madrid so a lot were asking questions.

“A lot of people think he played a big part in me coming here but it was a big opportunity for me and it felt like the right time.”

Alexander-Arnold will play for new Madrid manager Xabi Alonso, who, like the defender, wore Liverpool’s red shirt during his early days.

Additionally, “Trent,” who decided to use his first name rather than his surname on the back of his jersey, spoke kindly of the man he considers a childhood hero.

“I told him he was a big idol of mine growing up so to be able to work with him is a dream come true for me,” Alexander-Arnold said.
