Florentino Perez has admitted he is considering two candidates to replace Alvaro Arbeloa at Real Madrid this summer.
The Madrid president also addressed growing speculation surrounding a possible return for Jose Mourinho to the Santiago Bernabeu recently overall.

Speaking during an interview with Television Espanola, Perez confirmed Mourinho remains highly respected but revealed no direct conversations have taken place yet officially.
“I’m thinking about it. I already have two names in mind,” Perez explained while refusing to publicly reveal the leading managerial candidates currently.
Perez Denies Mourinho Talks Amid Election Tension
Although Perez praised Mourinho’s qualities, he insisted discussions regarding a potential return have not yet started between both parties officially there.
The experienced president described Mourinho as “a very good coach” while carefully avoiding further details surrounding Real Madrid’s ongoing managerial search process recently.
Perez also used the interview to strongly criticise presidential rival Enrique Riquelme ahead of next month’s important club elections currently approaching quickly, reports Goal.
The Real Madrid president accused rival groups of attempting destabilisation and compared current opposition figures to the controversial Ramon Calderon administration previously there.
Perez further questioned financial claims involving Riquelme, suggesting concerns existed regarding loans reportedly connected to the presidential challenger recently in Spain overall.
Real Madrid are now expected to accelerate plans regarding Arbeloa’s replacement after the presidential election scheduled for June 7 officially concludes next month.
