According to speculations, Anthony Gordon might be available for roughly £65 million during the summer transfer window.
It appears that the winger will leave Newcastle United at the conclusion of the season, after three and a half years in the North East.
Gordon has helped Newcastle win the Carabao Cup, their first major trophy in 70 years, and qualify for the Champions League twice after joining the club from Everton for £45 million in January 2023. In addition, he has established himself as an England international.

Gordon has struggled this season, which has been unfortunate for Newcastle. He has 17 goals in all competitions, although just six have come in the Premier League.
Eddie Howe’s team is anticipated to refresh their roster in the summer, and sales will be required to do so. Gordon is one who is set to go, with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich interested. Liverpool were close to signing Gordon, a lifelong Reds supporter, in 2024 and plan to boost their attack this summer, especially with Mohamed Salah leaving at the conclusion of his contract.
According to Sky Sports Germany, Bayern have conducted conversations with Newcastle, who want roughly £78 million. However, Gordon is likely to be sold for a lower price. Reporter Florian Plettenberg said on X: “There have already been club-to-club conversations between FC Bayern and Newcastle over Anthony Gordon.
“Newcastle’s first claims reached up to €90 million (£78 million). Barcelona, Arsenal, and Liverpool were also notified. The cost is anticipated to be about €75-85 million (£65-£73 million), including bonuses. Bayern won’t pay that. That is why discussions with other candidates are still underway.”
Gordon’s move to Liverpool almost happened two years ago, when Newcastle required sales to achieve Premier League profit and sustainability targets. However, the Magpies parted ways with Elliott Anderson and Yankuba Minteh.
