Arsenal’s Plan To Get Emirates Bouncing For Atletico Showdown

The streets outside the Emirates Stadium will be lined with Arsenal supporters before the team’s Champions League matchup with Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal have home advantage in the second leg of the semifinal match after a 1-1 draw in Spain last week.

This is the greatest game the Emirates has hosted since Arsenal came in 20 years ago, and the Gunners have the opportunity to make it to the Champions League final for just the second time in the team’s history.

“I can’t wait,” Mikel Arteta said on Monday. “I feel the energy in and amongst the team, our supporters. So this is the moment that we want to live together.

“We have a lot of work as a club, as a team, after 20 years to be in this position again.

“And we are so hungry to get the game that we want tomorrow and go through to that final. Let’s live this together and let’s make it happen.”

Plans Already In Place

According to the Evening Standard, to further contribute to the creation of a lively atmosphere both inside and outside the stadium, the club have partnered with supporter group REDaction Gooners.

A “Greet the Team” function is scheduled before kickoff. The Arsenal team have been urged to be welcomed to the stadium by the supporters.

Thousands of fans are anticipated to line up as the two Arsenal coaches drive along Hornsey Road and Benwell Road and in front of The Armoury.

The team coaches are expected to arrive around 6.30 p.m., while Arsenal supporters have been instructed to assemble starting at approximately 5:45 p.m.

Bear Roundabout’s flowers and memorials were taken down on Tuesday morning and will be stored somewhere else before being put back on Wednesday morning.
