Liverpool Could Outbid Bayern For £65M Player

Newcastle United attacker, Anthony Gordon is expected to be acquired by Liverpool this summer if they beat Bayern Munich.

According to Caught Offside, Transfer news expert, Christian Falk claims that Gordon’s estimated price of £65 million would be expensive for Bayern in his most recent exclusive CF Bayern Insider piece.

It might depend on the cost, but the German football expert has verified that Gordon is on Bayern’s list and enticed by the transfer, probably because of England teammate Harry Kane’s influence.

Although it doesn’t appear that Bayern urgently need another attacking player, Gordon has been playing well and would be tempting if the chance presents itself for a fair price.

Gordon Has Connection With Liverpool

Falk added that the 25-year-old has a connection to the Reds because he comes from a family of LFC supporters, and Liverpool proved to be in a better financial position for this move.

The 2025/26 Premier League champions have a lot of money to spend and are still one of the best teams in Europe. Bayern, on the other hand, doesn’t want to spend a lot of money this summer.

It can be see why the Magpies would contend that they shouldn’t sell Gordon to Bayern at a low price when they can earn more money from Liverpool.
