Man United, Arsenal Leading The Race For Bundesliga Star

Manchester United and Arsenal are reportedly in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt left-back, Nathaniel Brown next summer.

In recent months, the Premier League have shown a great deal of interest in Brown. Man United have been linked with the 22-year-old Germany international, who is among the most promising full-backs available, as a possible Luke Shaw successor.

Despite interest from Tottenham, Liverpool, and Barcelona, Man United and Arsenal are “leading the way” for Brown, according to Caught Offside.

It is now known that Frankfurt are preparing for a number of summer transfer moves.

Brown doesn’t have a release clause in his contract, so if he wants to leave, clubs interested might try to negotiate a cheaper fee.

Frankfurt To Demand £57M For Brown

According to the source, the Bundesliga team would want at least £57 million for Brown.

The 22-year-old has made 31 appearances for Frankfurt this season, tallying three goals and dishing out six assists. Due to his outstanding Bundesliga play, he has also made two appearances for the German national team.

It is known that Man United will play a back four under whichever manager they appoint at the end of the season because it is what the team desire, and their recent interest in Brown indicates that they intend to bolster their squad in order to play a back four.

Furthermore, it would be a wise move for United to beat Arsenal to his signature as Shaw is currently in his 30s and is injury prone.
