Barcelona is having a strong season, and they are well positioned to match and even improve on last season’s achievements.
They have already defended their Spanish Super Cup championship and are in the Copa del Rey semifinals, where they want to repeat their success.
Furthermore, they are the La Liga leaders and Spain’s most in-form club by a long shot, and they have qualified for the UEFA Champions League knockout stages without the need for an additional playoff tie.
The team does have gaps, but it is working to minimize their influence thus far.
Flick discusses Barcelona’s season
Hansi Flick spoke to Mundo Deportivo after being voted Best Manager of the Year at the recent Gala, discussing the team’s goals and how they are on course to repeat their successful season.
“We won the first Super Cup title. It was excellent versus Real Madrid. But, in the end, we are Barça, and we will fight for everything. We have the opportunity to compete for every title, which is exactly what we want.”

Speaking on the elusive UEFA Champions League trophy that they have been denied for years and that the team want to achieve under him, the manager stated,
“As I stated last season, I believe we are working to improve every day. To progress, we must improve even the smallest of details. That is what it is all about, and we also have opportunities to win the Champions League.”
“It’s a huge objective for us, and we work hard every day to achieve it. I know the supporters support us in every game. It’s a terrific combination to have everyone together, which is why we’re all fighting for this magnificent crown,” he continued.
