Man United Get Double Injury Scare Ahead Of Tottenham Clash

Two players could be sidelined for Manchester United’s Premier League matchup against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.

Michael Carrick has won his first three games as United’s coach, and he hopes to make it four wins when the team hosts Spurs at Old Trafford.

United have begun preparing for the game without an important duo and will continue to intensify their training schedule over the next two days before the encounter on Saturday lunchtime.

De Ligt, Mount Hand Man United Injury Scare

Both Matthijs De Ligt and Mason Mount were absent from the team’s victory over Fulham during the weekend, and neither player featured in their most recent midweek training session.

Carrick gave club media permission to broadcast their Wednesday morning session, which included five youth stars from the start.

According to the Manchester World, De Ligt and Mount, meanwhile, were nowhere to be seen, and it seems doubtful that they will be fit enough to play this weekend.

De Ligt may prolong his absence this weekend after suffering a back injury during the team’s 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the end of November, which has kept him out of the last 12 games.

Mount’s “knock” kept him out of the weekend’s victory over Fulham, and he hasn’t resumed training yet.

United are already missing Patrick Dorgu due to a hamstring injury sustained during the 3-2 victory over Arsenal.

Although club insiders are insistent that there is no set timeline for his comeback, it is anticipated that he will be out for about two months. It is hoped that he will return sooner.
