Liverpool have reportedly made a very high offer to sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guéhi ahead of the January transfer window.
The Reds failed to secure Guéhi last summer after a late collapse on deadline day, but interest remains strong.
Guéhi is now in the final year of his Crystal Palace contract and has no intention of signing an extension.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner recently confirmed the England international will not renew, accelerating transfer interest across Europe.
Barcelona and Bayern Munich have both been monitoring Guéhi closely, viewing him as a long-term defensive solution.
Liverpool nudge Barcelona aside with strong proposal
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona held talks with Guéhi’s representatives weeks ago, but negotiations cooled due to financial differences.
The Spanish giants reportedly struggled to match the financial demands required to complete the deal this winter.
Liverpool and Bayern Munich are now leading the race, both tabling very high offers to convince Guéhi, reports Sports Witness.
The two clubs are prepared to offer substantial wages, making them more attractive destinations than Barcelona at present.
Guéhi is expected to leave Crystal Palace this season and could decide his next club as early as January.
