Lionel Messi’s sister had to postpone her wedding to a member of Inter Miami’s coaching staff due to severe injuries sustained in a terrible car accident.
According to The Metro, Maria Sol Messi suffered burns and spinal fractures in the collision.
According to Argentinian TV journalist and presenter Angel de Brito, the football player’s mother informed him that although the 32-year-old was “out of danger,” he now required a protracted period of rehabilitation.
She lost control and struck a wall, causing her car to crash in Miami.

Messi’s Sister Is Out Of Danger – Angel
Angel, speaking on the TV programme LAM, said as he read messages on his mobile: ‘Messi’s sister is okay, she’s out of danger but I was checking things with the family because she was due to get married in Rosario in Argentina on January 3 and she’s going to have to suspend it.
“She suffered burns and burns are very difficult to treat as well as displacement of vertebrae.
“She’s already started her rehabilitation in Rosario. I asked her mum Celia Cuccittini because I’d received some information and she told me it’s true but that Maria Sol is okay.
“She has two fractured vetebrae, a fractured heel and wrist.
“The wedding is going to be put back.
“Celia told me she fainted and hit a wall.”
Angel first stated after speaking with the family that he believed the burns she had were caused by falling from a motorcycle, albeit this has not been verified, despite reports in Argentina that she was driving a pick-up truck.
Maria Sol Messi was scheduled to wed Julian “Tuli” Arellano, a coach for Inter Miami’s under-19 team, in her hometown of Rosario on January 3.
