The Santiago Bernabeu is already one of the world’s most technologically equipped stadiums, with features few other venues can match.
Florentino Perez and co., on the other hand, do not intend to stop with the external refurbishment, but rather to take the stadium a step further by integrating it deeper with the technology boom that is currently taking the world by storm.
Their goal is to provide home fans with a stadium-like experience while watching sports, and virtual reality technology helps make that ambition a reality.
Los Blancos have thus collaborated with Apple to produce an elite level technology capable of recreating the Bernabeu in VR to a lifelike level.
Perez flags off the project.
Florentino Perez and Apple’s vice president of services, Eddy Cue, spoke in a recent exclusive documentary released exclusively for Apple Vision Pro, officially announcing the launch of the Infinite Bernabeu project, which aims to provide a stadium-like experience to millions of fans worldwide.
“We are developing a new Virtual Reality project for the Bernabeu,” he told reporters.
“Every fan around the world can literally feel like he’s watching the game right at the Bernabeu,” he continued, outlining the basic concept.

The club president elaborated on how this would be a breakthrough partnership in the world of sports, saying,
“This will mark a defining moment in sports history, it’s never been done before.”
Perez then discussed how he was inspired by Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, to always choose excellence over financial rewards.
“Steve Jobs wasn’t obsessed with financial results, he was obsessed with creating extraordinary products.”
“When you focus on excellence, the rest comes naturally,” he added.
Perez then spoke on how millions of Real Madrid fans can benefit from the upcoming Infinite Bernabeu project and enjoy a stadium-like experience from the comfort of their home.
“There’s a billion Real Madrid fans, and our priority is to give them the experience they want.”
