According to England legend Chris Waddle, Harry Kane should turn down a fairytale homecoming to Tottenham Hotspur in favour of a thrilling move to Barcelona next summer.
When asked about Kane’s possible departure from Bayern Munich, Waddle responded (via AS): “I know it sounds fantastic to think that Kane could return to Tottenham. But I don’t think Spurs would want him at that age and for that price.
“Even if another team was interested, I don’t think Bayern would let him leave. They let [Robert] Lewandowski go to Barcelona at that age, and he went on to score constantly.
“Perhaps Harry believes he has completed his purpose in England, and maybe he will soon feel the same way about Germany.
“Now, Spain, Italy, or France may appeal to him. Bayern is massive, but Real Madrid is much bigger. What a tale it would be!

“If I were Real Madrid, Barcelona, or Milan, I’d ask myself, why not Kane?” He scores goals, is technically gifted, and can play as a center striker or offensive midfielder.
“If I were Harry, I would sooner try my luck in Spain than return to England. A good goalscoring record would be wonderful, but his performance in England speaks for itself.”
Goal machine available for £57 million.
Kane’s release clause will be reduced to £57 million (€65 million / $75 million) next summer, raising concerns among Tottenham and Barcelona.
On October 15, we disclosed that Tottenham are willing to spend big money to re-sign the striker, and that they have two advantages against Manchester United.
