The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 10 was one filled with both excitement and anguish as several managers had a share of both.
Arsenal assets, most especially in the defence, continue to be the major source of joy as they cannot stop being rock solid at the back. The Gunners have now gone seven league games without conceding which means managers who doubled or tripled up on Arsenal’s defensive assets will be overjoyed this period.
Gabriel Magalhaes (£6.6m) seems to be the chief amongst them following his 12 points in Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Burnley which took his seasonal tally to 80 points which is only bettered by Erling Haaland (£14.8m).
The Brazil international is now the most expensive and highest owned defender with 40.8 percent ownership.

His teammate, Declan Rice (£6.8m) collected 13 points following a goal, two defensive contributions points and the maximum bonus points.
Marc Guehi (£5.0m) recorded a double digit haul in Crystal Palace’s 2-0 win against Brentford at the Selhurst Park while his teammate, Jean-Philippe Mateta (£7.9m) was just one short after opening the score with a well taken strike.
Chelsea ace, Joao Pedro (£7.4m) scored the only goal for the Blues in their 1-0 London derby victory against Tottenham Hotspur thereby putting an end to a five consecutive matches without a goal or an assist which stretched back to the 2-2 draw with Brentford in early September.
Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder, Diego Gomez (£4.9m) surprisingly claimed the player of the week with 16 points following a brace and three bonus points in the Seagulls’ 3-0 triumph over Leeds United.
This is the first time the Paraguay international will be delivering attacking returns and his 0.1 percent ownership showed how massive of a differential he is this week.
Following his blank in Manchester City’s 1-0 loss to Aston Villa, Haaland returned to scoring ways as he netted two goals to claim 13 points in the Cityzen’s 3-1 victory over Bournemouth.
