Getafe Eyeing January Move For Real Madrid First Team Player

At least in terms of signings, Real Madrid is not expected to accomplish much when the winter transfer market begins in January. However, given that Xabi Alonso has hardly given some of his players any playing time, there may be one or two departures imminent.

Gonzalo Garcia is among many who fit this description. With four goals in six games during the Club World Cup, the 21-year-old made his debut. However, Kylian Mbappe has played the majority of the minutes since the new season began, thus he has struggled to see much action.

Additionally, Gonzalo must contend with Endrick for a small number of minutes, and the latter is unlikely to depart in January. He is therefore a candidate, and Getafe wants to bring the teenage striker to the Coliseum, according to Roberto Gómez (via Radio Marca).

Getafe will request him once more. He plays very little and isn’t given a ball by Xabi Alonso. Ángel Torres will request it once more.

Gonzalo was already coveted by Getafe in the summer, but Real Madrid ultimately decided to keep him. Gomez has stated that a similar circumstance will occur in January.

“I don’t believe he will depart. The player’s group wants to protect his interests, but I believe he should go. However, Real Madrid will not allow him to go.

Gonzalo needs more minutes to maintain his encouraging progress.

Gonzalo has demonstrated his desire to be a top player, but he runs the risk of becoming forgotten at Real Madrid if he doesn’t get consistent playing time. He would benefit from a loan move, particularly to another La Liga team, but the club has excellent reason to want to keep him because he, Mbappe, and Endrick are Alonso’s only striker alternatives.
