Palmer Forced To Give Up On Wine Brand Dream After Seeing Trademark Application Blocked

Cole Palmer’s intentions to launch a wine brand after his nickname, “Cold Palmer,” have been shelved after losing a trademark battle against a well-known French winery.

Founded in 1814, Chateau Palmer, which sells £750 per bottle for its premium wine, disputed the England star’s proposal in court.

According to The Sun, Chateau Palmer, who have been selling wines since the early 1800s, have defeated Palmer in a trademark lawsuit.

They opposed the England international’s idea to name a collection of wines after his nickname, Cold Palmer, and their 1970 Cru Classé Margaux can get up to £750. Now that they have won, Palmer’s attorneys are modifying his initial plans.

The England international appears to be thinking about boosting his off-field activities, especially in terms of investments, given his increase in prominence since joining Chelsea and becoming one of the top attacking midfielders in the world.

He had intended to brand wines, clothing and spirits, but given the decision, he might now only concentrate on the last two.

Palmer’s groin problem returned over the weekend, and he was pulled from the game after just 20 minutes against Manchester United.

Given that he was spotted sneaking into London to view his own Nike advertisement, he has plenty of time to come up with IP ideas for his Cold Palmer business. Perhaps a pair of designer balaclavas will soon be available for purchase.

Palmer’s next focus will be on injury recuperation. With two wins, two draws, and one loss in their first five games of the season, the Blues are presently sixth in the Premier League standings and will try to improve against Brighton this weekend.
