Pep Guardiola is widely regarded as one of the greatest managers in Premier League history, but Dietmar Hamann believes his Manchester City dynasty has run its course.

However, City endured a hugely disappointing campaign last season and questions about Guardiola’s future have grown louder.
Hamann Delivers Brutal Guardiola Verdict
City slumped to a third-place finish in the Premier League and crashed out of the Champions League against Real Madrid in the knockout phase play-offs.
There was further misery as Tottenham eliminated them from the League Cup and Crystal Palace stunned them in the FA Cup final.
Even the Club World Cup ended in disaster, with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal knocking City out in the round of 16.
Speaking to the MEN, former City midfielder Dietmar Hamann insisted Guardiola’s golden era is now over, reports Mirror.
“I think everything comes to an end,” Hamann said. “It’s been very testing for him, and I just feel his time at City has run its course.”
Hamann argued that, although Guardiola will not be sacked due to his past success, he no longer sees him lifting another major trophy with the club.
With two years left on his contract, Guardiola faces growing pressure to prove his critics wrong and show City can bounce back.
