Fernando Solanas, the face of the AC Talent Agency in Spain, will be an important figure for Barcelona this month, as he also manages Inaki Pena and Hector Fort, two players connected with a move away from the club.
Pena, for example, is no longer part of Barcelona’s plans, with the club hoping to send him out on loan with an obligatory purchase option.
Fort, on the other side, has fallen behind Jules Kounde and now Eric Garcia in the pecking order, with no realistic prospects for a breakthrough. Barcelona wants to send him out on loan as well.
Solanas meets Deco in Barcelona
As the future of Fort and Pena remains uncertain, SPORT reports that Solanas recently spoke with Barcelona’s sporting director Deco.
The conversation was probably about Pena and Fort’s futures, with Barcelona particularly interested in speeding the former’s leave.

The club believes Pena’s departure will be critical in helping them sign Wojciech Szczesny, the club’s current second-choice goalkeeper.
Celta Vigo and Como have emerged as Pena’s top two suitors, however Celta appears to have withdrawn from the contest.
Barcelona does not see Fort’s leaving as a crucial economic lever. However, the club may still make €5 million by selling the teenager, who has no realistic possibility of becoming a significant component in the team right now.
The coming week, therefore, could prove to be significant as Barcelona attempt to finalize the future of not one, but three players: Pena, Fort, and Oriol Romeu, who is expected to be allowed to depart on a free transfer.
