Liverpool have finally unveiled their Adidas kit as the new signings get new squad numbers.
Florian Wirtz claimed Luis Diaz no.7 following the Colombian’s switch to Bayern Munich.
Seven new faces arrived at Anfield, including Wirtz during the current window. With Liverpool revealing their new 2025–2026 outfits on Friday, the first in a big 10-year kit agreement with Adidas, all of those new recruits are expected to have a new look.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool have also revealed a handful of new squad numbers as part of the announcement. Diaz’s No. 7 shirt has been grabbed by Wirtz, who joined Anfield earlier this summer for a club record fee.
It’s not just Wirtz who has discovered his new number. Jeremie Frimpong, a former teammate from Leverkusen, claims 30, the same number he wore in Germany.

Liverpool’s No. 6, which has been unoccupied since Thiago Alcantara’s departure, has been grabbed by former Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez.
The Reds’ goalkeeping department has also undergone some changes.
Giorgi Mamardashvili, who was signed a year ago, and was on loan at Valencia last season will start with number 25.
Over the upcoming season, fellow goalkeepers Armin Pecsi and Freddie Woodman will wear numbers 41 and 28, respectively.
Aside from the recent additions, there have also been significant changes made to the team’s current roster.
Academy star Trey Nyoni, who formerly wore the 98 shirt, has claimed 42, while young defender Conor Bradley has moved from number 84 to number 12.
