Man United To Make £58M Loss Following New Agreement

Getting players out of Old Trafford has been just as important to Manchester United this summer as bringing them in.

Tyrell Malacia, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho were all advised they were surplus to requirements and were consequently excluded from the Red Devils’ preseason tour.

After successfully moving Rashford to Barcelona on loan, they are now negotiating another deal that will result in a significant loss on their original investment.

Sancho’s problems with United predate Ruben Amorim’s arrival, in contrast to his “bomb squad” peers. He first had a falling out with former manager Erik ten Hag before going on loan to Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.

The Manchester club are now searching for new buyers to take the 25-year-old’s high salary off the books because his reputation has not improved under the Portuguese head coach, and the Blues paid a £5 million penalty to avoid having to buy the winger.

According to TUTTOmercatoWEB as reported by FourFourTwo, Sancho is now close to joining Serie A powerhouses Juventus, with a £15 million basic cost agreed upon and extras remaining to be worked out.

Compared to the £73 million the Red Devils paid Dortmund for the Englishman just four years prior, that is a staggering £58 million loss.

He is unlikely to be remembered as United’s best investment because he has only made 83 appearances, scored 12 goals, and given six assists in those four years.
