Garnacho Sends Message As Man United Confirm Rashford Departure

Alejandro Garnacho reportedly sent a two-word message to celebrate Marcus Rashford’s temporary move to Barcelona from Manchester United.

However, Rashford has only joined the Spanish giants on loan, so his long-term future is still up in the air.

Barca have agreed to pay the player’s whole salary, with he England international took a pay cut to join the La Liga team saving United some £14 million.

Since making his Red Devils debut, the United academy graduate has scored 138 goals in 426 games, but he made it obvious late last year that he wanted to depart after being benched for the Manchester derby.

He was only interested in Barcelona, thus he was opposed to the idea of a permanent move when he signed a six-month loan to Aston Villa.

The possibility of an unexpected swap deal involving Rashford and Ollie Watkins was discussed by United and Villa, but the former was not amenable to the idea.

Four players are actively seeking to leave United this summer, including Garnacho. Although he was in a similar situation, Rashford has finally made his move.

According to Manchester World, Garnacho left one of the most liked comments on Barcelona’s Instagram post confirming Rashford’s transfer.

Garnacho replied to the post with two salute emojis and the words, “Let’s gooooo.” Since the Europa League final, the Argentina international has not held back when stirring things up.

In recent weeks, a photo of himself wearing an Aston Villa shirt was shared, and he criticized Ruben Amorim’s decision to sideline him.
