Arsenal Signing ‘Waiting In London’ To Be Announced

Cristhian Mosquera has reportedly been waiting in London as he awaits to be officially confirmed as an Arsenal player.

With the signings of Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, Noni Madueke, and Kepa Arrizabalaga, the Gunners’ summer business is already well underway.

At least one new signing is almost finalized, but they’re still juggling a lot of things.

After playing AC Milan and Newcastle United in Singapore, Mikel Arteta’s team will go to Hong Kong to play Tottenham Hotspur before playing two more preseason games in London.

One aspect of Mosquera’s contract is delaying his official announcement, so it’s unclear when Arsenal supporters will get to see their new player in action.

According to Spanish publication AS, Valencia center-back Mosquera has been in London for a week while he waits for the necessary paperwork to be completed so that he can be officially announced as Arsenal’s newest acquisition.

After speaking with player sources, El Desmarque allayed concerns that the delay was due to player documentation rather than anything the club doctors had noticed, dispelling rumors that it had been brought on by a failed medical test.

It is currently unknown when Mosquera will be able to join his new teammates because he has not been formally confirmed by the Gunners and has not traveled to Singapore.

According to reports, the technicality that caused the setback will be fixed eventually.

Arteta will want the 21-year-old to become comfortable in his new surroundings, get to know his new teammates, and follow his tactical instructions as quickly as possible.
