Real Madrid has confirmed Lucas Vazquez’s departure and announced that the club will have a farewell ceremony at Valdebebas on Thursday.

Lucas Vázquez joined Real Madrid in 2007 at the age of 16 and has played at all levels of our development academy, from Under-17s to Castilla. After a season on loan with Espanyol, he made his Real Madrid debut in September 2015.

Since then, he has played 402 games for Real Madrid over ten seasons, during one of the most successful periods in the club’s history.
