Tottenham Agree Deal To Sign Premier League Star

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly triggered Morgan Gibbs-White £60 million release clause as they are closing in to complete the signing of the England international.

According to talkSPORT. the Nottingham Forest player will have a medical on Friday before joining Spurs, as new head coach Thomas Frank continues to bolster his team.

Gibbs-White has attracted interest from several elite teams and has decided to move to north London.

He scored seven goals and contributed eight assists in 34 Premier League games during the 2024–25 season, helping Forest secure a seventh-place finish and earn a spot in the Europa Conference League.

Because of this, Manchester City made him a target earlier in the summer, and Forest demanded a hefty price for their star.

talkSPORT earlier stated that the Tricky Trees had slapped a £100 million price tag on Gibbs-White over a possible transfer to City, who instead signed Tijani Reijnders and Rayan Cherkhi.

Spurs, however, are surprisingly expected to win the competition for the England international, and they won’t have to pay nearly as much as their competitors.

Now, Gibbs-White is expected to go for a lot less than Forest had anticipated, and Wolves, his previous team, will also keep some of his transfer money.

The Molineux outift sold him to Forest in August 2022 for £25 million plus £17 million in add-ons, and they have a 10% sell-on clause on any sale.

Gibbs-White now appears to be the second Reds player on the verge of leaving, as Anthony Elanga is expected to finalize a £55 million transfer to Newcastle.
