Arsenal’s Top Target Benjamin Sesko ‘Drops Transfer Hint’ As Mikel Arteta Eyes £70m Swoop For RB Leipzig Star

Benjamin Sesko, Arsenal’s main transfer target, has possibly dropped his strongest hint yet that he is interested in the Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’s squad wants to sign Sesko after the £70 million-rated RB Leipzig striker had another excellent season, scoring 21 goals in all competitions.

They’ve long liked the Slovenian and had offers turned down for the 22-year-old in January.

He has been connected with several top European teams, and Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal is interested in signing him, but he prefers to stay in Europe.

Despite this situation, Arsenal fans may be heartened to learn that Sesko follows the club on Instagram.

It is not a confirmation of a move, but it does suggest that Sesko – or whoever manages his account – is interested in the Londoners.

And the Gunners will welcome any help they can receive following The Sun’s story that Sesko is demanding significantly bigger salaries than they had anticipated.

His agent, Elvis Basanovic, also stressed that they will not try to force a move away from Reipzig, telling GiveMeSport: ‘Even if the player has a strong desire to move to a specific club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig.

‘I believe this is not the appropriate way, because the manner you leave the club reflects your principles. Values that you are bringing to a new club.

It’s very simple, even maybe in the media it looks very complicated.

‘[Sesko’s] numbers at his age compared to some strikers with already great careers at his age are confirming my words,’ he added.
