Barcelona could be about to assist Chelsea in completing the perfect transfer for Enzo Maresca. Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, and Liam Delap have all been confirmed for summer transfers, with the latter scoring his first goal for the club in the early hours of Wednesday morning against ES Tunis in the Club World Cup.
Tosin Adarabioyo and Tyrique George both scored for the Blues, who advanced to the last 16 and now face Benfica. Meanwhile, activity appears to be taking place away from the pitch, with Jamie Gittens’ transfer from Borussia Dortmund seeming increasingly imminent.
Another striker moving to Stamford Bridge is a serious possibility, with Hugo Ekitike, Victor Osimhen, and Benjamin Sesko among those connected. According To Football London.
Additions farther back may also be on the cards, with Mike Maignan of AC Milan being pursued before the first deadline. As things stand, it is unlikely that the agreement will be reviewed later in the summer trading period.

However, signing a defender is highly possible, as contact has already been made with Ajax’s Jorrel Hato. Arsenal has also been connected with the adolescent, and they now lead their London rivals in the race for his signature.
Chelsea may move on to other targets as a result, with Maresca stating that he would like to recruit a more experienced centre-back.
“In terms of experienced players who know how to win games and such, I believe they have an advantage over us,” he remarked ahead of Chelsea’s match against Premier League winners Liverpool. “For sure, if you want to close the gap with these kind of clubs then, for sure, you have to [sign those players].”
